David Faugno has more than 25 years of global financial and business operations experience across multiple technology sectors. He currently serves as Executive Vice President, Office of the CEO and was previously Chief Financial Officer of Qualtrics (XM), the leader in experience management. There, he led the Qualtrics IPO readiness initiative through to the filing of its prospectus and IPO roadshow, which led to a dual-track process and successful sale of the company to SAP for $8B. David served as Chief Financial Officer of Barracuda Networks (NYSE: CUDA) from 2006 through 2016, where he led the acquisition of 11 companies and the company’s successful 2013 IPO. Before Barracuda, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Finance – M&A at Cisco Systems, where he participated in dozens of M&A and investment transactions. David joined Cisco via the acquisition of Actona Technologies, which he led as CFO and COO. Before Actona Technologies, he spent eight years with AT&T in both Sales and Finance roles, including four years in London in sales operations and as CFO of the AT&T Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. David’s extensive experience and track record with M&A, global business operations, and strategic leadership earned him significant recognition, including 2012 Francisco Partners portfolio CFO of the Year and 2013 Silicon Valley Business Journal CFO of the Year. David sits on several advisory and corporate boards, including as Audit Committee Chair at Meltwater (MWTR), Browserstack and Eagle Eye Networks, and as an advisor to SentinelOne (S), 1Password and Seekout. He also serves as a Venture Partner at Accel. David is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds an MBA from Duke University.
